Emmanuel says that pledge is unlikely to be fulfilled, alleging that Obama supports ethanol tariffs and farm subsidies.

Considering that the Democrats continue to block free trade agreements and are leaning towards protectionism in these harsh economic times, I can’t fathom how the President thinks he’ll accomplish this. With all the money we are giving away to the banks, auto makers and such, I guess the only plausible means would be……more money, the penultimate problem solver.
